Painted with Daniel Smiths professional pigments in the rich magenta against the lush green foliage, she is delectable. Unlike her counterpart my ‘Two French Radish’ who also delectable however has a vintage kitchen look with a wash background. This modern lass is kept clear and fresh, much like her yummy flesh. Outlined in ink, to define her lovely shape. Homegrown, this breakfast beauty is one from the vegie patch, harvested the season before the floods swept through.
Oh they were a plentiful, crisp and so pretty. The bountiful fruits of everything grown are shared, with the many marsupials, birds and passers by of on my patch of paradise, some for us and some for them. Never quite 50/50 though as I practice organic growing and am still learning.
