Frequently Asked Questions
Commissions
Yes, I take on several commissions each year. If you have an idea or see a sold original etc
Visit Commission Contact Page
Insitu staging
To get the feels of how the art piece may look insitu, we have provided some mock up “insitu” pictures for you.
We make an effort to keep these to scale and hope it helps you visualise them into your own space as a kick start.
The print choices and frames all there for you to click through and make the piece your own.
If we can be of assistance don’t hesitate to get in contact.
Payment
If you decide to go ahead with the commission, payment is pretty simple. It’s just a $100 deposit to get started and then the remainder upon completion.
Timing
Timing is 30-60 days. If I anticipate it being longer than 30 days, I will tell you up front. Let me know if you have a special event or date that you need it by! ***larger may have longer estimated times.
Accelerated Timing
If you need something quicker than 30 days, I do have options to accelerate the timeframe. Its a 20% premium for 15 day and a 40% premium for 7 day. ***large paintings larger ” may have longer estimated times.
Framing
Commission prices do not include framing. We can discuss your preference for framing something simple, elegant, and can fit almost any room decor while letting the art speak for itself.
Time Lapse
One unique extra I offer is to video the process of creating your painting in a time-lapse. This can be a really fun way to gift the artwork in a memorable way.
The aim is for you to see a video starting with a blank page/canvas.
Then as it progress your artwork emerges and you have the original artwork queued up to gift.
Also, this can be fun to have video on your phone to show guests who are curious about your artwork. Here’s an example of one I did recently.
Thanks for taking this first step. I’ll get back to you, usually in 24-48 hours to see if there is any additional information I can provide. Remember my patch of paradise is a little remote and internet service can be, well “ patchy”.
